Wine’d Down at Sip & Shop, Oct. 8September 21, 2022
Need to relax and take a little “me” time? Why not spend the day “wine-ding” down at Grand Central Park during Sip & Shop, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8? There will be more than 100 vendors setting up shop at The Lake House, 1039 Lake House Drive, courtesy of Big Top Entertainment. Merchants will be selling jewelry, boutique clothing, art, gourmet food, furniture, decorations and more. Bernhardt Winery will offer wine for purchase so you can sip a little and shop a lot. The Tuscan-style winery located in Plantersville less than 30 miles northwest of Grand Central Park produces delicious wine from Texas-grown grapes. In addition to crafting a selection of red, white and rose vintages, Bernhardt Winery also produces the Antiquity series. The wines are made from grapes that are as genetically close to indigenous varieties as possible. Food trucks will also be onsite to feed hungry shoppers. Admission is free. Free parking is available at 925 City Central Avenue. Shuttles will pick up attendees and drop them off at The Lake House. Many of the participating businesses are located here in the Houston area, including Custom Creations, A Little Extra, ACAJU Spiced Cashews, AJ’s Gourmet Pecans, Artistic Creations by Dena, Buck Wild Rags, Cassell 3D, Collier Collections, Forest Park The Woodlands, Image-ination Photography, Jane And Jordan Natural Products, Khala Jades, LaFrese Designs, Lemongrass Spa, Lucas Pottery, Makeup Junkie Bags, Mamas Sub ‘N Things, Mary Kay, R Designs, RileyRay Boutique, RM Custom Creations, Strong Happy Blonde, SucCUTElent Boutique, Sugar Mama Shimmer, Sunflower Dreams, The Central Stitch, Third Coast Organic Foods, Vesna’s So Stinkin’ Cute, WhatAboutPlush, Wreaths and Crafts by Elizabeth and YouCanCallMeQueenB and more.
