Margaritaville Resort Opens June 26

Conroe residents and tourists looking for a little R&R rejoice — the first Margaritaville Resort in Texas opens June 26.

The spectacular new resort is just 30 minutes away from Grand Central Park, which means our residents are perfectly positioned for a night out or a weekend staycation.

The resort features a splash of dining concepts and recreational activities, including a water park, an 18-hole golf course, a “5 o’clock somewhere” swim up pool bar and boat rentals. There are 303 suites in the 20-story luxury tower and another 32 lake cottages on the property located along Lake Conroe.

Opening even earlier in mid-June will be The LandShark Bar & Grill. The standalone, lakefront restaurant will be one of three restaurants open to the public. Several boat slips on the lake will allow people to sail in for lunch or dinner.

Reservations are already being accepted online and by phone for the June 26 - July 1 time frame. The resort is taking COVID-19 safety precautions and will not open at 100 percent capacity until July.
