Supply Drive Gives Students a Boost

Summer vacation is about to end, so let the back-to-school shopping begin! While you and your kids are browsing cute backpacks and superhero-themed binders, spare a thought for children whose families can’t afford even the most basic school supplies.

We’re asking you to help get the school year in gear for those families by adding a few extra items to your shopping cart for our school supplies drive.

Bring stacks of notebooks, packages of pencils, scads of scissors and more for Conroe ISD students in need. You can bring donations to the Grand Central Park's Home Station at 170 Town Park Drive weekends now through Aug. 4.

Needed items include:

• Notebooks
• Pocket Folders
• 3-Ring Binders
• #2 Pencils
• Glue sticks
• Crayons
• Markers
• Hand Sanitizer
• Kleenex
• Zip bags
• Erasers
• Scissors
• Backpacks
