Horsin’ Around in Grand Central Park This AprilMarch 29, 2019
There will be lots of horsing around in Grand Central Park during Houston’s Largest Home Tour this April with a Triple Crown of activities planned. Brews & BBQ is a sure bet for fun from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 13. Admission to the event is free, and event-goers can enjoy mechanical bull riding, pony rides, giant yard pong, Skee-Ball and inflatables. The Joe Bailey Band will be performing throughout the day and Montgomery County First Responders will host a private cook-off during Brews & BBQ. Tickets for a catered barbecue lunch are $10 and can be pre-purchased online at https://www.grandcentralparktx.com/brews-and-bbqor paid for with cash at the door. Alcohol also will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the event benefit Henry’s Home Horse & Human Sanctuary, located in Grand Central Park. In addition to the April 13 funfest, families will be able to pose the entire family on a 10-foot log swing for a picture-perfect moment. The log swing is part of a series of pop-up art being installed in Johnson Development communities throughout the tour. More than 30 homes in Grand Central Park can be toured in Grand Central Park during April. Among the homes are eight well-appointed models — full of inspiring home design and architectural details.
