Hundreds of Hounds Hike Grand Central ParkNovember 17, 2017
Hundreds of hounds strutted their stuff at Grand Central Park for our first annual Bark in the Park dog walk and after “paw-ty” Nov. 4. The chance to explore our resident-only nature trails attracted more than 300 dogs — plus their two-legged friends — making it one of Montgomery County’s largest festivals for man’s best friend. The walk was followed by a canine-friendly after “paw-ty” featuring a collection of pet-related vendors. Food trucks, music, a kissing booth with pups, contests, face painting and a bounce house added to the festivities. In addition, “pup-u-lar” furry athletes Houston Disc Dogs performed their high-flying antics. Voluntary donations were collected at the event for Operation Pets Alive, a non-profit all-volunteer Montgomery County animal welfare organization. The event was such a hit, that our furry friends are already panting for more. Would you and your pup like to explore our trails all of the time? Then explore the possibility of becoming permanent residents with tours of our seven luxurious model homes.
