The Houston-based firm was listed in the Houston Chronicle’s 2016 Top Workplaces, a tally compiled from employees’ comments on the potential for advancement, working environment and attractiveness of pay and benefits. It ranked No. 31 among small companies in Houston. Nearly 77,000 Houston-area employees participated in the survey, which debuted in 2010. Founded in 1975, Johnson Development boasts more than 90 employees in nine locations. The company has 17 communities under active development in Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth and Atlanta. Houston-area communities include Cross Creek Ranch, Edgewater, Fall Creek, Grand Central Park, Harmony, Harvest Green, Imperial, Jordan Ranch, Riverstone, Sienna Plantation, Tuscan Lakes, Veranda, Willow Creek Farms and Woodforest. In Dallas-Fort Worth, Johnson Development projects are Trinity Falls and Viridian. The company is developing Lake Arrowhead in Atlanta. |
