Texas Children's Festival ~ November 9th & 10th

When I'm not running, blogging, spending time with Lee watching the Green Bay Packers or watching the ducks at Grand Central Park, I work. I know.. Boo.. I have a day j.o.b, but it’s not so bad...my boss is pretty cool! One of the things I like most about where I work is that I get to see kids all the time and this makes me very, very happy - especially since I don’t have any of my own. I get to love on them and then hand them back to their parents! Not a bad gig, right? There’s one kid in particular who loves loves loves trains. It’s not uncommon for him to be carrying around one of his many railcars. And in particular he loves Thomas the Train and Friends. I bet I know where to find him on November 9th and 10th. Perhaps he’ll be at the 24th Annual Children’s Museum, All Aboard the Pavilion Express. Yes! So if you have a little or two (or more), you may want to check out this event if you’re looking for something fun to do - especially as we enter the cooler weather season. Tickets are just $10 and that includes all activities (not concessions). 

This is going to be so much fun - check out all of the things to do:

• Thomas & Friends Sing Along Adventure & Meet and Greet (singing and photos)
• Adventure Depot (Bubble Runners, Mini Go-Karts, Zip-lines, Bungee Jumpers, Inflatable Bumper Cars, Rock Climbing Walls, Obstacles Courses)
• T.E.A.M. Station (Full of interactive and educational activities in an exploratory environment)
• Truck Crossing - (Touch-a-Truck and learn about all of the inner workings of trucks)
• Central Terminal - (great place to take a break and grab a temporary tattoo)
• Community Stagen - (Performances from an ensemble of talented students from the area surrounding The Pavilion)
• Sky Station - (place to build and decorate their own kites AND fly them down the hill)
• Toddler Town - (for ages 4 and under, it’s a festival within a festival)
• Arts District - (special appearances from Frozen's Anna & Elsa + theatre enrichment classes)

It looks like all the stops are being pulled out for this 24th Annual Children’s Museum event. Choo-choo!!!
